At Gasparian Spivey Immigration we have extensive experience with naturalization applications including those complicated by criminal issues, past fraud, security issues, or changes in residence or marital status. We also handle appeals and recourse for denied or long delayed applications in Federal Court. Citizenship in the United States offers great benefits including the ability to vote, accelerated family petitions, and safety from removal.
An applicant for naturalization, generally, must be at least eighteen years old at the time of filing, be a permanent resident (have a green card) for a specified period of time, show physical presence and continuous residence for a specified period of time, demonstrate good moral character, demonstrate an attachment to the principles and ideals of the US Constitution, demonstrate a basic knowledge of U.S. history and government, demonstrate English ability, and take an Oath of Allegiance.
