Open for Business After Hurricane Ida

Open

We are heartbroken to see the devastation that Hurricane Ida brought to New Orleans, Southern Louisiana, and the Gulf South. Our staff is safe and we’re thankful for that, but because of the damage to New Orleans’ energy infrastructure, we’re unable to work from our office for the next few weeks.

Fortunately, our experience dealing with the COVID-related quarantine has helped us develop processes to work remotely. We’re taking today—August 30—to switch gears, but we’re still open for business. We’re away from our phones and physical mail since we can’t get to the office, so we’re best reached via email at kathleen@gsimmigrationlaw.com or leah@gsimmigrationlaw.com.

If we have work ongoing with you, rest assured that we’re still working on it. If you need an immigration lawyer, we look forward to hearing from you. The mechanisms may not be as seamless as we’d like, but our experience practicing immigration law after Hurricane Katrina gives us confidence that we can continue to deliver quality representation despite the circumstances.
